As the weather cools off, having great outside gear is important - especially in a house full of canines to be walked. I knew I wanted a comfortable sweatshirt for those chilly mornings when walking my 4 pups. I particularly fond of the 1/4 zip pullover sweatshirts. In my search, I found this wonderful 1/4 zip sweatshirt from Comfort Colors in a soft-washed finish. I fell in love with the look, brought one in to test out and I've been wearing it for the last 4 weeks as the weather has become chilly. I also wanted custom cooler weather gear with my new favorite embroidery design, the floral paw print.

I've found the sweatshirt to be a perfect addition to those 40 degree mornings when walking the dogs. Fit-wise, this unisex style is pretty much as expected. I find that the style of sweatshirt doesn't have the same "give" or stretch sideways as some regular crew neck sweatshirts do when pulling the waist around my head. I think the ribbed bottom plays into the feel of less stretchy fabric. I haven't noticed a great deal of shrink using a cold water wash and low dry cycle.

If you like a sweatshirt that feels like it has more stretch when pulling it over your head, then this one may not be for you.
